The SIWAK (or Miswak)

Properties:

This amazing Siwak stick will make you throw away your synthetic toothbrush and your chemical-laden toothpaste.

Let go of your old habits and choose this simple, natural method that has been used for centuries to clean and care for your teeth and gums. The Siwak replaces both the toothbrush and toothpaste. It can be used anywhere, as no water is required.

The Siwak, recommended twice by the World Health Organization, radically removes dental plaque without damaging your teeth and gums (unlike nylon fibres).
What’s more, it strengthens the gums and enamel, and protects the teeth with a protective coating.

The secret of the Siwak lies in the fact that it contains active natural substances that make it particularly suited to oral hygiene.

How to use:

For ease of use, on first use you can remove the thin bark from one end over a length of 1 cm.

You can also soak this end in fresh water for a few hours if the wood is dry.

Chew the end of the Siwak until the fibres separate like a toothbrush.

Your siwak is ready to use: rub each tooth, face by face.

Scientific studies demonstrate the superiority of the Siwak

Science has demonstrated the benefits of the Siwak and its superiority over the

toothbrush-toothpaste combination. Its mode of action is threefold: it strengthens the gums and enamel, removes dental plaque and protects the teeth with a protective coating.

- Gum strengthening Study 1.

- Removal of dental plaque Studies 2 and 3

This American study (2), conducted in 2003 by the National Center for Biotechnology Information, concluded that using the siwak is more effective than using a toothbrush

- Protection of enamel and preventive effect on the formation of plaque and cavities (Studies 1 and 3)

The Siwak contains a substance that, like a varnish, firmly coats the enamel and protects the teeth.
