Zeyna, the House of the Orient: Aleppo soap, argan oil and natural cosmetics

The Berber Gold

Some natural products are simply essential

Such is the case with Argan oil, which has well and truly earned its nickname of Berber Gold.

Argan oil has been used by Berber women for millennia for its remarkable qualities.

It reduces imperfections, soothes and moisturises. But it is above all its anti-ageing virtues that make it so valuable: a daily application of Argan oil gives the skin suppleness and elasticity. Its moisturising effect is due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids. It contains 45% omega-9 (oleic acids) and 35% omega-6 (linoleic acids).

Argan oil also contains many antioxidants with recognised anti-ageing effects.
